Sebastià Barceló Forteza is an asteroseismologist working on light curve and frequency analysis. He obtained his PhD on Astrophysics (2015) at Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) and Universidad de La Laguna (ULL) thanks to the FPI grant "Participación del IAC en la Misión CoRoT" funded by the Spanish Ministry of Sciences. This grant also provided him the opportunity to stay several times at Observatoire de Paris (Meudon), collaborating with LESIA: the department in charge of the CoRoT space telescope and its legacy. He continued working at Centro de Astrobiología (CAB, CSIC-INTA) on the projects “Contribución del INTA-LINES a la misión espacial PLATO2.0 fases B/C” and “fases “B2/C/D”.  During this period, he evaluated projects and events as a member of the ESAC Faculty Council of the European Space Agency (ESA) in order to fund them. Currently, he still working on the PLATO2.0 mission at Universidad de Granada (UGR). 
Research lines:
-Seismic characterization of delta Scuti stars especially fast rotators
-Responsible mechanisms of the power-spectra long-term variations for delta Scuti stars.
-Synergies between Asteroseismology and exoplanet research
-Use CoRoT, Kepler, and TESS legacy for PLATO exploitation.
